If you’re getting ready to prepare for the SAT, one of the first things you should consider is when to actually test. Although all test dates are created equal, you should consider your own circumstances when planning which 2021 SAT tests to sit for. For example, you should consider what else you might have going on (AP tests, prom, spring break), how long you’ll have to prep, and whether you’ve met the registration deadline.

COVID-19 Disclaimer
Since we’re living in unprecedented times, it is important to remember that nothing, including SAT dates, are set in stone. Many test dates in the spring, summer, and fall of 2020 were cancelled outright by the College Board, whereas others were held at minimum capacity. That being said, I would advise you to plan ahead and have back-up options when considering which 2021 SAT tests to take. And once you’re signed up, keep an eye out for SAT test center closings and other COVID-19 updates.
