Mindfulness & Mindset

Mastering standardized tests and excelling academically require more than content knowledge and strategic know-how. Approaching these challenges with the optimal mentality and being able to control your headspace during periods of intellectual stress are crucial ingredients for success.

That’s why Inspirica Pros offers Mindfulness & Mindset programs, taught by tutors who specialize in the psychology of academics and test prep. Scroll down to learn more.

Hi Brendan, I just wanted to thank you again for your terrific tutoring, and for inspiring another perfect score. You are a captain of the A team. I'm grateful to the four wise Packer moms who all recommended you personally. You are a very talented tutor. You worked brilliantly with John. You projected a calm confidence in him -- and a deep respect for him -- that was invaluable.

What is Mindfulness & Mindset?

Mindfulness can be generally defined as the practice of purposefully bringing one’s complete attention to the current moment. Sustained emphasis on mindfulness can increase cognitive flexibility and behavioral flexibility, bolstering the ability to adapt to one’s current environment in a meaningful and productive manner. Mindset refers to the intentional application of mindfulness concepts.

Inspirica’s approach to the ISEE starts with the fact that a student’s experience with the test will vary significantly depending on their age, which means that the optimal course of preparation will vary as well.
