One of Bobby’s gifts is spending time with the student and really breaking down the student’s specific skill sets. This helps optimize his time with the students. For example, my oldest son tested slightly lower on the reading portion of the ACT. So Bobby worked with him for maybe an hour on this specific section of the ACT and the next time he took the ACT, he increased his reading score by two points. Incidentally, my senior in high school this year scored a 35 on the ACT. I am convinced this would not have been possible without the tutoring he received from Mr. Hood.
My second son is in 10th grade this year, so he has several other tests in his future. I most definitely will hire Bobby Hood to assist him with all of the college admissions tests. I’ve never worked with a tutor even close to the caliber of Mr. Hood. It’s always a pleasure to talk to him, he’s available to discuss specifics about my children and their progress in the tutoring process.
