Biography

Anthony (Tony) Majewski is an Elementary Educator and Private Tutor with expertise working with students from preK through middle school. Tony has taught Kindergarten and third grade at The Dalton School in New York City, Third grade for the NYDOE, and professionally homeschooled a student in fourth and fifth grade.

Tony values the one-on-one experience and truly believes that children have a chance to really thrive when given the opportunity to find their voice. When Tony works with students, it’s a creative, all immersive experience when delving into the material. Veering away from a “robotic approach” Tony’s students learn through movement, artistic endeavors, and hands-on activities that build an awareness for mastery and comprehension.

Engaging the student in the manner in which they learn and tackle information provided a sense of pride and integrity that they may not develop during the school day. When working with Tony, students take the skills learned and apply them to their day-to-day academics so they can be active members of their classroom community and beyond!

Tony also enjoys singing, playing volleyball, and running competitively. He currently sings with YNYC (Young New Yorker’s Chorus) and runs the NYC marathon annually.
