Justin Sloss

Justin Sloss has amassed 27 years of test preparation industry excellence, the first six as part-time tutor and manager of test prep companies and the last 21 in New York City as industry innovator and full-time test coach. His career-long dedication to the myriad intricacies of test coaching, his quick and sharp insights into people, and his ability to provide those insights in honest, reassuring ways are unparalleled. Justin takes great pride in keeping his students instinctive and upbeat and keeping their families informed and at ease.

From his private office & classroom in Brooklyn Heights, running both in-person and online meetings, Justin specializes in two clienteles. Among his high school students, he works with athletes with strong academic records, competitive mindsets and lofty collegiate goals to turn them into winning ACT, SAT and SAT2 testers. And he works with businesspeople who make their own hours to decode and defeat the GMAT and to prepare candid, persuasive business school applications.

In his free time, Justin gently reminds himself that he has no free time. His radiant wife of 17 years and his three rockstar kids – one of whom has autism – gobbled up all but one of his nights long, long ago. He probably wouldn’t say No, however, if you asked him to play tennis or to fill in for the ailing centerfielder on your Central Park corporate league team.
