Melissa Hendrix

Melissa Hendrix is an expert on the ACT and SAT, but she specializes in helping students of all scoring ranges become experts themselves and reach their goal scores. She has helped over a thousand students earn admission to their first-choice colleges, a partial list of which includes Notre Dame, Harvard, Duke, Northwestern, University of Chicago, Yale, Washington University, Stanford, and the Universities of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.

Melissa has been a national leader in SAT and ACT preparation for over 20 years, developing curriculum and strategies for national test prep companies. She is the lead author or editor for several Random House titles, including “Cracking the ACT” and “ACT Elite 36.” She is the author of the regular column, “Are You Smarter Than Your High Schooler,” and contributes regularly to the Noodle Pros blog, Pro Tips.
