Biography
Paul Foglino is a superb tutor and master classroom teacher who offers each of his students a lifetime of varied and fascinating experience. Paul has been teaching and tutoring since 1985, when he finished his undergrad work at Columbia, earning both a B.A. in English Literature and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Soon after college, he founded a critically acclaimed country-rock band that released four albums and toured internationally. In order to support his art, Paul turned to test prep, working as a teacher, trainer, author, and curriculum developer for a leading worldwide corporation. He has taught and tutored SAT, ACT, MCAT, GMAT, GRE, SAT Subject Tests (Math, Physics, and Chemistry), and CLEP, and written and edited materials for many of those subjects. He is also the author of several books, including the leading prep guide to the AP Chemistry exam, Cracking the AP Chemistry Test. For the past fifteen years, he has served as a beloved math teacher and grade advisor at one of New York’s finest independent schools. He lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
